Hi, I'm Anna. I'm a mom, an educator with more than 19 years of experience working with young children and families, a Montessori preschool owner, and I hold a master's degree in education.
I've spent much of my life learning about children—how they develop, communicate, build independence, navigate big emotions, and make sense of the world around them. But becoming a parent taught me something just as important: knowing about child development and actually parenting a child in the middle of a difficult moment are two very different things.
That's part of why I created Parenthood, Practically.

Parents have access to more information than ever, but more information doesn't always make parenting feel easier. Sometimes you don't need another explanation of everything you should be doing—you need to understand what's happening with your child and know what you can realistically do next.
Parenthood, Practically was created to bridge that gap.
My goal is to take what we know about child development and early childhood education and turn it into practical strategies for real life: what to say, what to do, what to expect, and how to respond when things don't go according to plan.
This isn't about perfect parenting. It's about understanding our children, being intentional in how we respond, and having practical tools to help us along the way.
There's no perfect parenting here—just connection, consistency, and a willingness to keep learning.
